Gabrielle Phillips Speech Pathologist

Gabrielle Phillips

Hi, I’m Gabrielle!

I believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel confident, capable, and connected in their everyday world. As a Speech Pathologist, I am passionate about supporting children to build meaningful communication skills that allow them to participate fully at home, at school, and in their community.

I completed my Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Southern Cross University (Gold Coast), where I developed strong foundations in evidence-based practice and ethical, family-centred care. I am a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia and am committed to ongoing professional growth to ensure the support I provide is thoughtful, current, and effective.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, individualised, and strengths-based. I value working closely with families, educators, and other professionals to create functional goals that reflect each child’s unique profile and priorities. I strive to foster a therapy space that feels safe, encouraging, and empowering to ensure children feel understood, and families feel genuinely supported.

Having a brother with a complex disability has given me personal insight into the realities families face when navigating additional needs. This lived experience deeply shapes my empathetic and holistic approach, reinforcing my commitment to advocacy, dignity, and strong therapeutic relationships.

I feel privileged to partner with children and their families as they develop communication skills, confidence, and independence. I have a particular interest in supporting speech and language development and love seeing children grow in ways that are meaningful to them.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find me enjoying the outdoors - whether that’s swimming at the beach, heading out for a coastal walk, or relaxing with a sunset picnic.
