Communication is a fundamental human right, and I'm passionate about supporting children of all backgrounds and abilities to access that right. Working with families to collaboratively set goals and strategies is a central part of how I practice, so that kids carry their confidence with them when they're outside the clinic room. Every child is different, and I work to ensure that therapy is unique and personal to each. Therapy should be enjoyable so that children feel safe and comfortable to explore their skills. For that reason, I integrate games and play into sessions to keep kids refreshed and engaged, while also taking an evidence-based approach to therapy. I completed my Bachelor of Medical Science and Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Technology Sydney. As a Certified Practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia, I continue to keep myself up to date with the current evidence and guidelines for communication intervention.
